Durrell Brown is a communicator and builder at heart — the kind of person who can walk into a cycling studio, a boardroom, a stage, or a dinner table and make people feel like they belong. A State Oratorical Contest Champion and Mass Communications graduate, Durrell has spent his life using his voice and energy to move people: teaching middle school science, Human Resources Recruitment Professional and later becoming a SoulCycle instructor, where he led high-energy classes for rooms of 55+ riders and had the honor of coaching former First Lady Michelle Obama.
That passion for movement led him to co-found freebeat, a global AI-driven fitness technology startup, where he served as Head Coach and led instructor recruitment — helping build a company at the intersection of fitness, technology, and community. From there, Durrell went on to host live broadcasts, emcee events, and build platforms that bring people together in every form.
Today, that same energy fuels Shepherding Destinies — his platform for coaching, gathering, and connection. He hosts The Table LA, a dinner series built on the belief that strangers become friends and hearts are nourished as deeply as appetites, and leads a growing community through 1:1 coaching and his Telegram channel, where faith, wellness, and real conversation meet.
A husband, father, and licensed minister, Durrell's calling to shepherd destinies — guiding people toward wholeness in spirit, mind, and body — shows up in everything he does, from the studio to the stage to the table.
His heart beats to mobilize community—in every corner of the earth. With every step, he walks in obedience to his calling as a “sent one,” ministering across more than 20 nations, with a special focus on Asia, to those the world often overlooks.
